Driven by our family’s passion for high quality, locally produced, sustainably raised meat products, Mosner Family Brands is proud to announce our new initiative, Mosner Family Farms. Together with a cooperative of local, independent family farmers our mission is to bring local heritage breed proteins to market, connecting chefs with a delicious variety of products.

Mosner Family Farms sources heritage pork from New York State framers that embrace natural pasture raising methods and supplement with only vegetarian feed. Animals are never issued hormones or antibiotics. By allowing pigs to develop naturally, we are rewarded with authentic heritage breed pork that is juicy, tender and rich in flavor. It is truly pork as Mother Nature intended.

Mosner sources local heritage breed pork from various small farms in New York State on a weekly basis. All pigs are raised on pasture and supplemented with a grain diet as needed. In order to maintain the integrity of the program and allow pigs to be raised in a natural, sustainable environment, we need to partner with various farms. All animals will be a cross of heritage breeds that will vary from farm source.
